Major contributions by the Jakarta Project include tools, [[library (computing)|libraries]] and [[Software framework|frameworks]] such as:

*[[Bean Scripting Framework|BSF]] - a scripting framework
*[[Jakarta Cactus|Cactus]] - a unit testing framework for server-side Java classes
*[[Apache JMeter]] - a load- and stress-testing tool.
