==Geography==
Harwich Center comprises the central settlement in the town of Harwich, located at {{Coord|41|41|18|N|70|4|19|W|type:city}} (41.688302, -70.072015).<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|access-date=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> It is bordered by the CDPs of [[Northwest Harwich, Massachusetts|Northwest Harwich]] to the north and west, [[East Harwich, Massachusetts|East Harwich]] to the north and east, and [[Harwich Port, Massachusetts|Harwich Port]] to the south. The village center is at the intersection of [[Massachusetts Route 39]] (Main Street) and [[Massachusetts Route 124]] (Pleasant Lake Avenue).

According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the Harwich Center CDP has a total area of {{convert|5.9|sqkm|order=flip}}, of which {{convert|5.8|sqkm|order=flip}} is land, and {{convert|0.1|sqkm|order=flip|3}}  (1.83%) is water.<ref name="Census 2010"/>
