==History== [[File:Good Thunder.jpg|thumb|left|Good Thunder, after whom the town is named]] Originally, this area was a part of the [[Winnebago Reservation]] from 1855 to 1859. John Graham established a hotel in what is now the town in 1870.<ref>{{Cite book |last=Schrader |first=Julie |title=The Heritage of Blue Earth County |publisher=Curtis Media Corporation |year=1990 |pages=214}}</ref> When the railroad arrived in Minnesota, the town began as an agricultural commerce center.
