==Geography== Galatia was bounded to the north by [[Bithynia]] and [[Paphlagonia]], to the east by [[Pontus (region)|Pontus]] and [[Cappadocia]], to the south by [[Cilicia]] and [[Lycaonia]], and to the west by [[Phrygia]]. Its capital was Ancyra (i.e. [[Ankara]], today the capital of modern Turkey).
