==Early life and education== Eric Martin Andrew Banadinović was born on 9 August 1968 in [[Melbourne]], [[Victoria (Australia)|Victoria]]. His father Ivan was [[Croatian Australians|Croatian]], born in [[Zagreb]], and worked as a logistics manager for [[Caterpillar Inc.]], and his German mother, Eleanor, was a hairdresser, originally from near [[Mannheim]] in Germany.
