==Geography==
Dublin is located in southwestern Erath County. [[U.S. Route 377 in Texas|U.S. Route 377]] bypasses the city on the west, leading northeast {{convert|13|mi}} to [[Stephenville, Texas|Stephenville]], the [[county seat]], and southwest {{convert|21|mi}} to Comanche. [[Texas State Highway 6]] passes through the center of Dublin as Blackjack Street, leading southeast {{convert|20|mi}} to Hico and west {{convert|12|mi}} to [[De Leon, Texas|De Leon]]. Fort Worth is {{convert|80|mi}} to the northeast, and [[Waco, Texas|Waco]] is {{convert|90|mi}} to the southeast.
