This is a demographic table based on Danderyd Municipality's electoral districts in the [[2022 Swedish general election]] sourced from [[Swedish Television|SVT]]'s election platform, in turn taken from [[Statistiska Centralbyrån|SCB]] official statistics.<ref name=DanderydVal2022>{{cite web|url=https://valresultat.svt.se/2022/riksdagsval-0162-danderyd.html|title=Valresultat 2022 för Danderyd i riksdagsvalet|publisher=[[Swedish Television|SVT]]|language=sv|date=11 September 2022|access-date=21 December 2023}}</ref>

In total there were 32,772 residents, including 24,246 Swedish citizens of voting age resident in the municipality.<ref name=DanderydVal2022/> 28.8% voted for the left coalition and 70.3% for the right coalition. Indicators are in percentage points except population totals and income.

On 31 December 2017 the number of people with a [[:sv:utländsk bakgrund|foreign background]] (persons born outside of Sweden or with two parents born outside of Sweden) was 6,402, or 19.47% of the population (32,888 on 31 December 2017).
