==Geography==
Crystal Lawns is located near the northwest corner of the city of [[Joliet, Illinois|Joliet]], just southeast of the Westfield Louis Joliet shopping mall.  Its geographic coordinates are {{coord|41|34|10|N|88|9|22|W|region:US_type:city}} (41.569580, -88.156203).<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|accessdate=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> A golf course used to be on the land of Crystal Lawns, and the old clubhouse still stands in a decayed state. According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the CDP has a total area of {{convert|1.0|sqmi|km2}}, all land. There is also a elementary school called Crystal Lawns Elementary School off of Crystal Drive. It is part of Plainfield School District 202.{{citation needed|date=April 2020}}
