Swedish kings [[Erik XIV of Sweden|Erik XIV]] ({{reigned|1560|1568}}) and [[Charles IX of Sweden|Charles IX]] ({{reigned|1604|1611}}) gave themselves numerals after studying [[Historia de omnibus Gothorum Sueonumque regibus|a mythological history]] of Sweden.
