== Geography == The park is split across the south-eastern corner of the locality of [[Iveragh, Queensland|Iveragh]] and the south-western corner of the locality of [[Foreshores, Queensland|Foreshores]],<ref name="globe">{{Queensland Globe|access-date=15 October 2019}}</ref> {{Convert|407|km||abbr=}} northwest of [[Brisbane]]. The vegetation in the park is predominantly open [[Eucalyptus|eucalypt]] woodland.<ref name="act" /> There are also some stands of [[hoop pine]]. Mount Castle Tower can be seen from [[Lake Awoonga]]. The park has limited access with permission required from Gladstone Area Water Board to cross their property.<ref name="act">{{cite web |url=http://www.nprsr.qld.gov.au/parks/castle-tower/about.html |title=About Castle Tower |publisher=Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing |access-date=9 July 2013 }}</ref> There are no facilities for visitors.
