==Geography== The village is situated on the [[A1 road (Great Britain)|A1]] at the southern end of the fifteen-mile A1(M) [[Doncaster]] bypass, which opened at the end of July 1961. The Blyth roundabout was replaced in March 2008 by a [[Grade separation|grade separated junction]] (junction 34). This had previously been a dangerous three-lane road.
