==Name== The name Behistun is derived from usage in Ancient Greek and Arabic sources, particularly [[Diodorus Siculus]] and [[Ya'qubi]], transliterated into English in the 19th century by [[Sir Henry Rawlinson, 1st Baronet|Henry Rawlinson]].
