The [[Thornburg House]] was separately listed in 1991.<ref name="nris">{{NRISref|version=2010a}}</ref> Barboursville also contains the historic Miller House, a building constructed in 1835 by local pioneer William Clendenin Miller, grandson of Major George Clendenin, who served under Lt.
