* February &ndash; [[Rome]] celebrates the festival of the [[Lupercal]]. Mark Antony twice presents [[Julius Caesar|Caesar]] with a [[Monarchy|royal]] [[Diadem (personal wear)|diadem]], urging him to take it and declare himself king.
